| Details | In a will— the word "grandchildren" applies only to lineal descendants in the second degree of the person whose "grandchildren" are spoken of . [See, section 99 (b), the Succession Act, 1925 (Act No. XXXIX of 1925)]. The word "grand-children" shall be deemed to include the children, whether adopted or natural-born, of a child whether adopted or natural-born. [See, section 6, the Hindu Wills Act, 1870 (Act No. XXI of 1870)] [Now stands repealed by Act XXXIX of 1925]. |
